ODAS [Ocean Data Acquisition System] buoys are now being placed Worldwide.
 
These buoys are placed in prominent locations, and transmit data on Sea Conditions and Meteorological Conditions from their respective locations.
 
The data from such buoys is available to YOU!
 
The buoys around the UK and Irish Coastline can be accessed by clicking on the link below. Some of the indicated locations are not buoys, but oil or gas platforms, but still provide the same information.
